Since ’94 All Saints (not the really outdated band..you know the really cool BRAND) have wowed with me with their slick, chic looks whilst still somehow remaining laid back yet a wide step above normcore. This months Lookbook is no exception and has left my mouth drooling and my mind fantasising. Dressing for Autumn doesn’t need to be boring and dull, and despite darker colour choices and the absence of print you can still rock this colder weather like a catwalk. Think skinny leathers, tailored coats and pointy statement boots and you are on the right track.
I have selected my absolute favourite look to share with you guys as these have been playing on my mind since my first encounter. They may not meet my budget exactly, but that doesn’t mean a girl can’t dream!
FORGET buying a cape this season and focus on the layers! Layering an oversized wool coat over a real leather jacket gives you the ultimate edge whilst still being able to keep super warm. Add a pair of super skinny washed black jeans to the esemble and you are good to go! Nothing feels as good as a pair of jeans that fit you like a second skin, and there is nothing worse than ‘baggy in the wrong’ places to ruin your look completely. If you are going to go oversized on the coat, then make sure that your bottom half is slick and skinny.
This outfit is the epitome of Fashion in colder weather. I don’t think I could’ve picked more perfect pieces myself, as this outfit is pure perfection. The long leather boots are exactly what I have been after for as long as I have loved Fashion, and are a true necessity for this season. The cascading layering works perfectly with the print and creates a ‘grown up’ college vibe. I want it all.
If you are going to rock sheepskin this season, this is how to do it. I picked up a faux fur gilet to take me through Autumn and it now looks seemingly sad compared to this showstopper of a coat. Once again the boots have stolen my heart, and prove to be the best pairing for some slick trousers, yet this time round some skinny leathers which transform the knitwear into hello sexy!
Do you guys love the September Lookbook as much as me? All Saints seemed to have nailed Autumn, and now I can’t wait to see next months styles.
