FINALLY I decided to embrace the PVC trend after much debate, and through trial and error.
I still absolutely love the PVC pastels, but they remind me mostly of fierce Winter time looks so I wanted to spruce it up a little for Spring 2014. Prior to purchasing this PVC skirt I did try a mid length one thinking that it would be the right cut for me, but being Petite the mini skirts really do work as they come up a lot longer than expected and don’t look ‘trashy’. I loved the celebrity takes on mocha PVC, and saw a gorgeous Camel skirt in Topshop but nothing beats my love for this Missguided wonder which I have completely fallen for.
In terms of styling the PVC skirt I don’t think they are any set rules, but for me personally I like to go with something a little longer in length on the top. I don’t think that black is a necessity, and rather than bulking up with a jumper I think that wearing a fitted body really shows off the skirt. For a night out a crop top would look perfectly acceptable, but I thought that the bowler hat and the long bodysuit would tone it down for a more casual look.
